Angie Witz, Director of Finance and Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. She joined Blaze Capital Partners after serving as Controller for Glenfield Capital (2.5 years) and Pattillo Industrial Real Estate (9 years). In both prior roles, she oversaw the daily accounting, cash management, and internal controls as well as playing a key role transactions and investor reporting. Angie possesses advanced financial, construction, and property management accounting experience and is an excellent mentor.
She recently obtained her Master of Science in Commercial Real Estate at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson School of Business and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Clayton State College. Angie is a member of the Accounting Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Commercial Real Estate Women.
Angie is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys running, yoga, hiking and most recently, OrangeTheory Fitness. She is an avid runner and has completed one full marathon and 16 half marathons. Angie is an advocate for empowering women, both young and old and volunteered for 2 years as a coach for Girls on the Run. She resides in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband and has two young adults attending Georgia Institute of Technology.
