Ben Pitlock is a Senior Accountant at Blaze Capital Partners where he is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for its various joint ventures. In this capacity, Ben is actively involved in financial reporting and analysis, cash management, and lender reporting.
Prior to joining Blaze Capital Partners, Ben was a project accountant at Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s Catlettsburg, KY Refinery. Marathon is a petroleum refining, marketing, and transportation company headquartered in Findlay, OH. In this role, he supported the accounting and financial reporting functions for the Capital Projects and Operations teams at the refinery. His responsibilities included forecasting capital costs, preparing asset in-services for projects, and providing month-end and ad-hoc reports to upper management.
Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Findlay.
Ben currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
