Brett Murray is a Capital Markets Associate for Blaze Capital Partners where he is responsible for supporting the firm’s capital raising initiatives, structuring efforts, relationship management, and other strategic growth plans.
Prior to joining Blaze, Mr. Murray was a project manager for Advanced Resources International (ARI), a boutique international oil and gas consulting and R&D firm. Over his 9 years with ARI, Brett led the firm’s business unit that focused on due diligence efforts for prospective acquisitions, strategy formation, and infrastructure development. He led fundamental research for over $8 billion in strategic development and acquisitions for clients and helped grow the firm’s fastest growing business segment in carbon sequestration. Mr. Murray began his commercial real estate career at Grosvenor in Washington, DC, working on multifamily acquisitions and developments.
Mr. Murray received his MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flager Business School, concentrating in Real Estate Development and Investments. Brett graduated Cum Laude from Washington and Lee University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Environmental Studies. At W&L, Brett was a captain of the football team and a two-time Academic All-American.
