Josh Helmandollar is a Director of Asset Management at Blaze Capital Partners where he is responsible for oversight of a portion of the Company’s multifamily portfolio. He works closely with capital partners, operational teams, and other third-parties to develop and execute asset-level business plans that drive portfolio value.
Prior to joining Blaze, Josh served as a Vice President of Investments at Avanath Capital Management, a vertically integrated affordable housing operator. At Avanath, he was responsible for asset management, development, and redevelopment activities on a portfolio of nearly 3,000 units across 6 states and the District of Columbia. He worked closely with the company’s senior executives, property management group, lenders, and others to maximize investment returns. Prior to Avanath, Josh was a Manager in Deloitte’s real estate consulting group, primarily providing appraisal review and valuation services to the firm’s clients. During his time with the firm, he valued several billion dollars of real estate across a broad spectrum of asset classes, specializing in large portfolio valuations.
Josh graduated from Virginia Tech where he received a B.S. in Finance and is also a CFA charterholder.
He and his family currently reside in Atlanta, GA.
