Mick Peddicord, CPA, is a Senior Accountant at Blaze Capital Partners where he is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for its various joint ventures. Mick is actively involved in financial reporting and analysis, treasury and cash oversight, tax analysis, and supporting the investment and asset management teams.
Prior to joining Blaze Capital Partners, Mick was an auditor for SBF in St. Petersburg, FL and Ernst and Young in Dallas, TX. During his time at SBF, Mick worked directly with senior management to assist in the preparation of yearly audits for a multibillion-dollar Real estate investment fund. In addition to preparing audits, Mick helped with the training of other staff and the offshore team in India. Prior to SBF, Mick Worked at Ernst and Young in Dallas as a staff auditor. During this time, he gained experience in acquisitions and SEC reporting while working on Fortune 500 Oil and gas and telecommunications companies.
Mick received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Minor in Finance from The University of Mississippi. Mick holds an active membership with the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Mick currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
