Ray McGill is a Senior Director and Head of Asset Management for Blaze Capital Partners. Mr. McGill is responsible for the Company’s asset management team, oversight of the asset business plans, and for developing and implementing institutional quality asset management policies, procedures, and best practices. In this capacity, Mr. McGill leads the Company’s portfolio valuation and analysis, capital execution, and all aspects of the tenant experience.
Prior to joining Blaze, Mr. McGill served as a Vice President of Financial Asset Management at Brixmor Property Group, a publicly traded shopping center REIT that owns and operates a high-quality, national portfolio of 400+ open-air retail centers. In this role, Ray oversaw budgeting, forecasting, and strategic asset plans over their south region investments. He also was instrumental in training and developing the company’s analyst pool. Prior to Brixmor, Mr. McGill was an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan in the firm’s Real Estate Investment Banking group. Throughout his tenure he completed over $15 billion of M&A, equity, and debt capital markets transactions.
Mr. McGill received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and graduated from Cornell University, receiving a BA in Information Science. Prior to business school, Ray acted as an Information Technology Associate at Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank.
